Photos By: Stock Images

Some of these include keeping inventory and ensuring the property is left clean and hygienic. Others focus on leaving the property in the same condition it was in when you moved in.

Choosing the right cleaning products

There are several factors to take into account when choosing the cleaning products for end of tenancy cleaning. First, you need to determine the type of cleaning you require. The cleaning services that you choose should have the necessary experience and service. Getting these services from an end of tenancy cleaning company in Wimbledon ensures the best results. In addition, you should get a detailed list of the tasks that need to be completed.

The end of tenancy process is normally completed within two to four hours, although it can take longer if the property has furniture and is in poor condition. Depending on the type of property, you may need to spend as much as a day cleaning a single room.

The end of tenancy cleaning process may be a stressful and exhausting task, so it is a good idea to hire a cleaning company. These companies will handle the job correctly and will follow your instructions. They will also give you expert advice when needed.

Besides hiring the services of a cleaning company, you should also evaluate the reputation of the company. Make sure you find out whether there are any complaints about the services they offer. Although a few negative comments may not affect your decision, they can definitely raise a red flag in the decision-making process.

Choosing the right products is an important step in a thorough cleaning. It is important to consider the type of soil and surface that needs to be cleaned. Without this knowledge, you may end up choosing the wrong product for your property.

Keeping inventory

It is important to keep an inventory during the end of tenancy cleaning process. This will enable you to know what has been done to the property. It can also help you define expectations. For example, it can be helpful to note the condition of garden sheds, gutters, flowerbeds, and the lawn.

While it can be difficult for landlords to determine how clean a property is, maintaining an inventory can help clear up any ambiguities. You can use the inventory report as a guide when performing a deep clean. You can also take photos of certain areas. Keeping inventory reports during end of tenancy cleaning will help you make sure that everything is left as you found it.

Keeping an inventory is also beneficial in case there are disputes between landlords and tenants. It can be used as evidence to prove charges or rent arrears in court. As such, it is essential for both landlords and tenants to agree on the inventory document at the beginning of the tenancy. Otherwise, the process of legal action will take longer and can be expensive.

Keeping the property in the same condition it was when you moved in

When tenants move out of a property, it is important to do a thorough clean. You will be inspecting the property for damage and ensuring that everything is in tip-top condition. Most tenants fail to do this, so it is important to ensure that the property looks its best before you let it out. The private rental market is extremely competitive and a property needs to be spotless to attract the right tenants. The best way to achieve this is to make sure that the property is cleaned thoroughly, from inside out.

It is also important to ensure that the property is clean outside. While the exterior may not require a full end of tenancy clean, it should still be thoroughly cleaned. Your landlord may have specific preferences for the exterior of the property. It is also important to check the walls of each room before the end of tenancy cleaning.

When it comes to cleaning the interior, you should pay special attention to the walls, especially if they have scuff marks on them. Click here for more information about how to clean marks off walls. If they aren’t clean, you may need to hire a professional to get them cleaned. Also, if there are unreachable windows, it is important to scrub the windows to ensure they are pristine.

When cleaning your rental property, remember to check your lease agreement to make sure you are complying with the terms of the rental agreement. Most tenants will want to have the oven cleaned and the carpets cleaned. They may also want the pets treated. There are many areas of the property that need to be cleaned, but the process can vary depending on the property.

Disputes with landlords end of tenancy cleaning

End of tenancy tidying is not always a straightforward task. It takes time, and it should be included in the move out inventory. Keeping a record of your tidying tasks and purchases is an excellent idea, and your landlord may be happy to provide you with a checklist to follow, as part of the end of tenancy tidying process. Getting the tidying job done well takes time, organization, and dedication. It also requires the use of tools.

If you’re moving out of a rental property soon, tidying should be an absolute priority. You’ll find that more than half of deposit disputes are related to insufficient tidying, so it’s crucial that you follow the tidying procedures specified in your lease. While it’s always a good idea to hire a tidying service before moving out, you can also do the tidying yourself.

Disputes with landlords over end-of-tenancy tidying usually center around cleanliness issues and whether or not a tenant leaves items behind. While tidying out a buy-to-let isn’t the most pleasant task, it’s important to remember that the landlord will expect a clean property when you vacate. If they don’t, they may even withhold a portion of the deposit as payment for tidying costs.

Keeping a clean house doesn’t need to mean sitting on the bathroom floor scrubbing the back of the toilet in your “free time” because you’ve been putting it off for months and the smell is now nauseating. You don’t need to spend half your life hunched over the bathtub scrubbing at soap scum rings. There is an easier way to keep the house clean, even when it feels like it will take weeks It’s time to stop letting the mess in your house rule over you; take charge of your home with this simple list of 5 things you can do everyday to keep your house clean even when it’s mess-prone.

What To Do When You Can’t Keep Up With Housework

Whether it’s the absence of structure hindering your ability to keep up with housework or simply the fact that you can’t get motivated to start, no one should feel overwhelmed by their messy house. Your house should be a place that you’re excited to come home to. Somewhere that you enjoy being, not somewhere that stresses you out when you look at the dirt and crumbs getting tracked across the floor.

How to Get Started Cleaning

If looking at your messy house zaps your motivation and makes you want to hide under the covers with a bowl full of rocky road ice cream (been there, done that) here are 3 things you can do to turn that idleness into action.

Organize First

Before you set out to start cleaning your home, you need to spend a bit of time organizing it. Keeping clutter out and placing items in their proper spot will significantly cut down on the amount of time you spend cleaning.

Turn on Some Tunes

Music increases stimulation and motivates us to get moving. Music just might be the fuel your body is missing for productivity and motivation.

Make Your Bed

Though a small accomplishment, making your bed will help you start the day off feeling motivated. Making your bed every morning not only makes your bedroom look much tidier, but it also motivates you to keep the rest of your home up to that standard of tidy. Now that you’re motivated and ready to start cleaning, here are 5 things you can do every day to keep your home clean when you have minimal time.

How to Keep Your House Clean in Less Than 20 Minutes a Day

Use the Same System

First, you need to find a cleaning system, routine, or schedule that works well in your day to day life. Once you’ve found (or created) the system that works for you, use it repeatedly and don’t stray away from it. Consistent repetition will help you get quicker at what you do. In other words, when you use the same cleaning system day in and day out, it will become second nature and you’ll be able to incorporate your cleaning tasks into your day in ways that allow you to get them done in less time.

In the morning while waiting for your coffee to brew and getting the kid’s cereal ready, empty out the dishwasher. Playing on the floor with your toddler? Grab that load of laundry that has been sitting in the dryer for the past 5 days and start folding. Brushing your teeth? Give the washroom countertops a quick wipe down before bed. Using the same daily cleaning system day after day will help you significantly cut down on the amount of time that it takes to keep your house clean.

Define Clean

One big mistake many people make when stressing over the state of their home is trying to live up to someone else’s standards of clean. Your life, your to-do list, and your situation are all completely different from the next person’s, which means if you have no more than 10 minutes a day to clean, you can’t expect to keep your house as pristine as your neighbor’s who has over an hour every day to dedicate to cleaning. It just doesn’t work. If you only have 10 minutes a day to clean, you need to hone in on your cleaning tasks and really prioritize them. Ask yourself which tasks absolutely need to get done daily, and which ones can be done once or twice a week. Define what clean is to you, then work on keeping your house up to that standard of clean.

Maintain

More than anything else, work on maintaining a clean house. When you let it start to slip by pushing your housework off for one, two, ten days, cleaning your house goes from being a 5 minute tidy-up to requiring a dust mask, 50 hours, and hiring a professional cleaning service. Try to maintain a clean house by doing small cleaning tasks daily, rather than letting it all build up and having your house require a very thorough deep cleaning.

Automate and Delegate

If you have family members that can help out around the house, don’t be afraid to delegate some tasks on to them. Many hands make light work. If you’re really low on time, when possible, automate any cleaning tasks possible. Automating your cleaning tasks could look something like purchasing a robot vacuum to cut down on the amount of time you spend vacuuming or using a scrub-free toilet cleaning system that does the dirty work of cleaning toilets for you. Automating and delegating your cleaning tasks will free up some extra time to spend doing other things.

Task Clean

Task cleaning, unlike zone cleaning (which is cleaning one room at a time), can significantly cut down on the amount of time it takes to clean the house. Task cleaning is when you focus on one particular task at a time. For example, you could focus on dusting every surface in the house, then moving on to vacuuming all the floors, and so on. Unlike zone cleaning, where you could get the whole kitchen cleaned in 2 hours, when you focus on task cleaning, you can get the house in its entirety thoroughly cleaned in the same amount of time it takes to clean just the kitchen.

We recently found this art project that imagined different types of home styles for dogs based on breed, and we couldn’t help but think –where’s the mess? We know that pets can significantly increase bacteria in your home, but we also found these homes too adorable not to share. Take a look at the cute home styles, and join us in applauding these pups for keeping their space clean!

For example, golden retrievers are known to be playful, and for many, that means they can also be quite messy. But this gorgeous colonial home matches the all-American golden retriever perfectly, and we were impressed by the cleanliness of the island in the kitchen! Plus, we’re always going to give points for impeccable landscaping. That’s one front yard we hope no dog will dig up!

Not to be outdone by a golden retriever, this outdoors-loving German shepherd opted for a cozier (and slightly shabbier) log cabin. We just think it’s so gorgeous and peaceful. And even though some toys are strewn about, we know the stately German shepherd loves a clean home like the rest of us. Just look at his immaculate decorating skills!

This corgi is out to prove that a small space doesn’t have to be left untidy. He may live in a tiny home, but his bed is made and his kitchen well-kept. We’re marvelling as his ability to do so with such small legs, but for the most part we’re just swooning at the adorable image of a corgi living in a tiny home.

What kind of housekeeping can you expect in a modern senior residence?

There are more seniors today than ever, and as they get older, more and more are thinking about making a big move. The transition from a family home into a senior residence is a major one and a process that comes with a lot of questions! One that you don’t hear much about: what kind of housekeeping can you expect in a modern senior residence?

The answer: it depends on what you want and what kind of lifestyle you’re looking for. One trend that is defining the senior housing industry is the expansion of independent senior living residences. Independent living is typically geared toward adults 55 and over (others might be 62 or 65 and over) in age-restricted communities. They may be senior villages with townhouses or bungalows with a community center and other facilities, like a gated community for seniors. They may also be senior apartments with similar community amenities. They’re targeted at seniors who want to downsize but are still healthy and want to live independent lives with peers their own age. They might offer the availability of future care, dining options, and housekeeping, but many prefer to take care of themselves. You should see what modern senior residences offer and what you can expect in terms of independence and housekeeping.

Cooking

If there’s one “chore” that inspires passion like no other, it’s cooking. There are some people who absolutely love to perfect their culinary masterpieces and challenge themselves with new recipes all the time. If that sounds like you, look for independent retirement living options that let you keep wielding your chef’s knife. Depending on how much you like to cook, you may want a fully-equipped kitchen in your suite. If it’s more something you’d only want to do on special occasions or a few times a week, some independent senior residences offer a communal kitchen. For those who never took a shine to the kitchen or happy not to worry about cooking every night, there are also many senior apartments that offer high-quality dining options.

Laundry

How much laundry can you expect to do? Many senior apartments offer dry cleaning services including pick-up and delivery, but for day-to-day laundry leave it up to residents. One thing to look for in a senior apartment building is laundry facilities on each floor.

Housecleaning in Senior Apartments

In independent, modern senior residences, many other housekeeping duties may still belong to you, or you housekeeping services may be on offer. Here are some great housekeeping tips for seniors:

1) Put Storage in Easy-to-Reach Places

Re-evaluate your storage solutions and make sure you can tidy up quickly and easily. Keep bins in easy-to-reach places and get shelves that don’t require you to get up on a footstool or chair to reach it.

2) Brooms Help You Avoid Kneeling

You wouldn’t be the first person who hates cleaning the bathtub – it’s hard to reach and rough on the back. A designated broom can help you clean showers and baseboards without resulting in the inevitable backpain.

3) Use Microfiber Cloths

Microfiber cloths are better at cleaning surfaces than paper towels – and they’re eco-friendly. Since they’re machine washable, you can use them again and again. You can clean pretty much anything with vinegar and dish soap using microfiber. Independent senior living gives you flexibility when it comes to housekeeping and cooking. For seniors who like their independence, these cleaning tips can help you clean better and avoid back pain.

Nowadays, there are many gadgets that you can purchase to keep your household smelling and looking brand new!

Specific devices automatically travel around your home and vacuum behind messes left behind by the family. Of course, there is always the option of hiring a maid to perform all of these cleaning duties for you, but this can become a costly endeavor after awhile. Aside from the hired help and new technology, some individuals wish to remain faithful to tried and true methods of cleaning the home. Using a mop and bucket is one of the most traditional means of cleaning ones home, and many people still use this combo.

Working Out Without the Gym

The mop and bucket combo are satisfying for various reasons, but many individuals still opt for these cleaning tools because of the intense workout provided. Depending on how big your house is, using a mop and bucket could potentially take hours. While other options such as spray mops would clean these areas faster, some prefer this extra bit of exercise on the weekends. Gym memberships can be pricey, but using a mop and bucket to wash one’s floors is free after the initial purchase.

Saving Money

Another benefit relating to the use of a traditional mop and bucket combo involves saving on additional purchases. More advanced options require refills, changing pads, and can eventually break down due to normal wear and tear. With a regular mop, these are bought infrequently and can last families for a decent amount of time. Sometimes, remaining true to more straightforward methods can prove to be cost effective. Every penny saved matters in this economy, and if there is an option to save on household expenditures, many will opt for the cheaper route.

Smelling Results

There is something about a freshly mopped floor that brings you a sense of satisfaction after you have finished cleaning. Steam mops and other advanced options make your floors look brand new afterward, but leave a lot desired in the smell department. With a standard mop, your floors will look brand new and certainly smell the part as well. One of the most satisfying aspects of cleaning is to detect the fresh aroma in your home, and this reliable floor cleaning method does not disappoint.

When looking at the best method for cleaning your floors, there are certainly a lot of options available on the marketplace. If you are price conscious, the mop already in your household may continue to suit you just fine for the time being.

One of the major benefits of hiring a professional cleaning service, apart from the fact that your home will always be immaculately clean, is that it will create a healthier living environment. A professional maid company like Deluxe Maid can help you keep dangerous dirt, allergens, germs, bacteria and other pests far away from your family and protect them from a number of diseases and infections. They can also make your walls sparkle, your carpets smell fresh, and ensure your home stays dust free!

In this article, we’ll list the 5 major health benefits of hiring a professional cleaning service.

Say Goodbye to Allergies

According to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, at least 50 million people in the U.S. are affected by allergies. Additionally, allergic reactions are the most common health issues in children. The symptoms of allergies can range from running noes and itchy eyes to far worse problems. Professional cleaning services use special equipment like HEPA vacuums to eliminate dust and other allergens giving you awesome health benefits from regular cleaning with professional equipment. Anyone struggling with chronic dust allergy will feel the improvement immediately after the first appointment. Hiring a professional cleaning service really is a cleaning hack that can save you a load of time and energy.

Photo: Access Maids

Get Rid of Invisible Harmful Bacteria

Dust and dirt can get into some places you can never hope to reach. Other times, it can even hide in plain sight. Even if you think your mattress is clean, in reality, it could be home to many types of bacteria. A professional cleaning service can help you get rid of these invisible and unwanted guests.

It’s Imperative for Your Infant’s Health

If your family recently got a new member, you have to be extra strict about hygiene in your home as infants are very susceptible to infections. And when they start to crawl, they seem oddly attracted to those exact places you neglected to clean. That’s why you should consider hiring a professional service to ensure your child’s safety.

Photo: Maid Marines

Good Bathroom Hygiene

Bathrooms are by far the most favorable breeding ground for dangerous organisms like viruses, fungi, and bacteria like salmonella and e-coli. That’s why you have to clean your bathroom regularly to keep these diseases at bay. But to keep the bathroom clean, you’ll need to put in some extra effort compared to cleaning the rest of your home. That’s why it’s a good idea to leave bathroom cleaning to professionals. Your bathroom can become a breeding ground for bacteria making it important to remove mould from caulk the right way to prevent it from returning.

It Helps Ease Your Stress

Stress is the silent killer, but no less dangerous than any other health issue we’ve mentioned in this article. Getting your home clean is no easy task, and when you’re pressed for time it can cause a lot of stress. Worse off is the sight of a messy home a day or two after you’ve thoroughly cleaned it. A professional service can save you a lot of hours spent on cleaning, a lot of stress and do a much better job than you could ever hope to.
